Things to Keep in Mind

The adhesives used for PVC Faux Tin plastic tiles should be used in open, well ventilated areas, preferably applied outdoors. Always read and follow safety and health instructions on any materials you work with. Some materials sold as adhesives may contain solvents. Today you can find RTV Silicone/Latex and Acrylic replacements for many older solvent based adhesives for these PVC tiles. Note: Adhesives with solvents should not be used with styrofoam or polystyrene plastic ceiling tiles, use only water based adhesives and acrylic adhesives.

See the adhesives chart that tells you what kinds of adhesives and glues to use with different kinds of ceiling tiles. You will also find a good selection of products for those who are having a hard time locating the right adhesives or tools in their local hardware stores.
